Who we are

CLIP OR NOT is run by Digital Currensy Inc. ("DCI", "we"). These terms cover the website, the API and every desk (brand, clipper, operator).

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. At sign-up you confirm your age and give your date of birth; we store that confirmation with your account.

One person, one account. Accounts opened with false details can be closed.

How it works

Brands fund campaigns. Clippers cut short clips, post them on their own social accounts, and submit the public link. Operators review each post. Approved posts earn on verified views pulled from the platform's official API.

Your posts and your ownership

You keep ownership of what you create and of your social accounts. You post with your own login and mark paid partnerships when the platform or the law asks you to.

You confirm you have the rights to the source material you cut, or the brand's campaign grants them.

License you grant DCI

You grant DCI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display, index and show the clips, links, captions and metadata you submit, to run the service, show campaign reports to the funding brand, and promote CLIP OR NOT. This lasts while the content is on the service and for a reasonable period after removal for backups, audits and legal holds.

DCI keeps an archive copy of everything submitted to the service (submissions, reviews, ledger rows, reports) on infrastructure DCI controls.

Fees

DCI keeps a platform fee of 28% of campaign spend. All amounts are tracked in whole cents. Prices shown on the pricing page are the prices that apply.

Payouts

Payouts go through Stripe Connect. Before your first payout you finish Stripe-hosted onboarding, including the tax form Stripe asks for (W-9 for US persons, W-8BEN for others). DCI does not store your tax ID number; Stripe does.

Only verified views pay. Unverified, botted or recycled views do not pay and can be reversed. Payout timing depends on Stripe and your bank.

Fair use and fraud

Do not fake views, buy engagement, recycle the same file as a new post, hide a paid mark, or impersonate anyone. Operators can pause, reject or reverse earnings tied to fraud.

Takedowns

If you think something on CLIP OR NOT infringes your copyright, use the DMCA page at /dmca. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Termination

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Earned, verified, unpaid balances are handled under the payout rules above, except where fraud is found.

Changes
